Can You Wish Someone a MERRY CHRISTMAS in Gujarati?

“’Twas a few nights before Christmas, and the only sound in the house,
Was of Dilshan typing on his keyboard, and left-clicking the mouse.
He was writing his Tribesters a Christmas post, ’twas now ready to be seen,
So he posted it as he smiled & said “What a cool tribe they’ve been.”

Apologies to Mr. Clement Clarke Moore for taking his beautiful poem and contaminating it with my words but I couldn’t help it. I’m feeling happy, poetic, and grateful these days.

In short, I’m feeling very “Christmassy”…

However, nothing to be alarmed about folks, I get like this every year. Starting from early December, I get into the festive mood by loading my iPod with all types of Christmas albums from Nat King Cole to the more recent Michael Bublé. I start seeing the good in everything around me and I start to feel very thankful (must be due to the sugar from the Christmas cakes and cookies that find their way to my house).

But don’t worry, I’ll get back to my usual grumpy crotchety state as soon as January shows up, I promise.

Let’s start.

your site is awesome! I’m challenging myself to learn Gujurati by March to surprise my husband! Stumbled on your site and it’s been helpful. Thank you 🙂

You’re welcome, Rad. Glad you like it.

I also love it when I hear such determination in my subscribers across all my sites. I love that you’ve attached a time frame to your goal too.

Email me about any stumbling blocks you come across and your suggestions for what I should write about next.

    Hi there,
My greatest struggle is really putting it together and actually speaking. By listening to my mother in law I’ve actually been able to string things together and seeing this in writing helps. But yet I’m still having a huge blur in pulling it together. I like that you have the pronunciations as that helps me relate when I hear people speak.

Sorry, I never got back to you on this. In terms of feedback, this is pure gold. Thank you. You’ve given me so many insights (even more than you probably realize) which I can build on. Shall be contacting you soon with certain solutions that may help you. Thanks again!

(For everyone else, if you have feedback to give me like Radhika did, please get it across to me either in these comments or by email).
